What is the selection guide for LED strips?

1. Chips used in LED light strips: chips include domestic and Taiwan chips, as well as imported chips (including American chips, Japanese chips, German chips, etc.). Different chips have different prices. The most expensive chips in the market are American chips, followed by Japanese chips and German chips, and Taiwanese chips are moderately priced. What kind of chip should be used specifically? What kind of effect should be achieved? Before purchasing, you must know it well.
2. LED encapsulation: resin encapsulation and silica gel encapsulation. The price of the resin package is cheaper, because the heat dissipation performance is slightly worse, everything else is the same. Silicone encapsulation has good heat dissipation performance, so the price is slightly more expensive than resin encapsulation.

3. Consistency of LED color: There are many packaging factories in China, and there are thousands of them, large and small. Of course, there are different strengths. Because there are many small packaging factories that do not have spectroscopic and color separation machines, they either do not use spectroscopic and color separation, or they send out, which makes it difficult to guarantee the quality. LEDs that have not undergone spectroscopic and color separation have poor color consistency, and the lighting effect after being installed on the LED strip is not so good, and of course the price difference is relatively large.
4. FPC material: FPC is divided into two types: rolled copper and copper clad. Copper clad is cheaper, and rolled copper is more expensive. The pads of the copper-clad board are easy to fall off when bent, but the rolled copper will not. Which kind of FPC material to use depends on the purchaser's own decision based on the use environment.
5. Does FPC have environmental protection certification and UL certification? Does LED have patents, etc. There are certified and patented ones, the price is more expensive, and the price is not cheap.
6. LED brightness: LEDs with different brightness have different prices, and the prices of ordinary brightness and high-brightness LEDs are quite different. Therefore, when purchasing, you must clearly know what kind of brightness you need, so that you can accurately position your products.
7. LED color: Different colors have different prices. White and green are more difficult to match and color-separate, so the price is higher than other colors; red, yellow, blue and other colors are easier to color-separate, and the consistency is better, so the price is slightly cheaper. Special colors such as purple, brown, etc. are the most expensive due to color matching reasons.
